2.) Foal handling: the simple but effective methods we have developed over 30 years that enhance their confidence, trust and respect for humans. The perfect grounding for their future lives.
3.) Early training and backing: Easily understood philosophies on these vital stages of a horses’ education. Anyone with the correct care and attention to detail can make it a joy to train their own horse.
4.) Natural horsemanship: From observing many International trainers and adopting a little from everyone, we have our own special Combe Farm ways of making it easy for both horse and trainer.
5.) Riding, developing ongoing relationships with horses and enjoying getting the most from your partnership.

Combe Farm is situated in the most wonderful ancient wooded valley and parkland, filled with breath-taking vistas from every angle. Michael’s family have lived here for three generations, and he has a great understanding and love of this beautiful place and enjoys sharing the land and its stories from yesteryear to the present day.
