Brood Mares

The Rumak daughters Sarazenaa, Anastasja and Lady Jane Grey.

Sophie stood & head

Sophie Bint Salome. Grey mare by Shaka ex Salome by Maleik el Kheil. Sophie is such a gentle, sensitive, connected horse who listens so well. She really ought to be a one person pet not a herd animal and would make somebody such a special friend and ridden companion or excellent private broodmare. She's had many foals, all tall with wonderful friendly personalities and she's been ridden lightly too.

Madge

Rumak daughter

Grey mare born 2001 By RUMAK ex Marie Antoinette (Madour ex Holly Blue)
Beautiful show winning daughter of world champion Rumak who has been shown successfully under saddle and in hand.

Winnie

Winnie

Grey mare born 2002
by Wermut ex The Lady Gwinevere (Rumak ex Holly Blue)

Winnie is proving to be an excellent boodmare, she is correct, has a wonderful temperament and passes her quality to her foals.

Valenssia

valencia

Bay mare born 2002
By Wermut ex Lady Jane Grey (by Rumak)

Valenssia is one of Michael's favourite mares, she is an example of a very correct horse who has lovely arabian type and an ability to perform.  A mare that we all enjoy riding, she has a great personality and we value her future as a broodmare at Combe Farm.

Vienna and Valenssia are full sisters and we are proud to have these two Lay Jane Grey daughters in our breeding program.  Vienna is a wonderful deep body mare, very beautiful with a charming character.  She has produced some lovely foals and we look forward to her next babies.

Jolande

by Da Vinci (Crusader ex Mazurka by Maleik El Kheil)
ex Holly Blue (By Argos ex Sapphire Blue)

Our famous foundation mare's last precious daughter has inherited her dam's beautiful dark eyes and delicate fleabitten grey colouring. She has the charm and sweet natured temperament of both parents and is proving to be a very successful broodmare.

Kamono

CHESTNUT MARE. BORN 1992.
By Kulak By Dryl ex Kula
Ex Polly Marie by Red Bishop ex Santa Maria

The glamourous Kamono has been an excellent broodmare at Combe Farm. Her foals have lovely temperaments, pretty heads and are good movers, giving them great show potential. Kamono has only ever had fillies and she and Shaka seem to be a particular good match so we keep repeating the same cross.

Kamono 1st Devon County Show
2nd South West Regional Show 2002
Dam of Amba Gold by Hawk Moth
Shakira Gold,Sabhine, Shakula and Sahla - all by Shaka
Keira bint Kamono by Rumak

Anastasja

By Rumak by Partner ex Rucasja
Ex Orange Blossom by The Prince of Orange ex Holly Blue
Anastasja is Sasha’s favourite and has a bright nature and intelligence combined with beauty and powerful, well balanced movement that makes her such an amazing individual. Sasha says; "she has been the most inspiring horse that I have ever known, Anni has taught me so much and she always thrills me".

Lady Amy

2ND DEVON COUNTY SHOW

DAM OF:
Lady Faye, Aisha, Clementina, Elpetha and Lady Arabella all by Da Vinci.
Nakeeta by Neposnij, Sherwood by Sheruggi and Rosalind by Shaka
Although Lady Amy damaged her eye and lost a bit of confidence, she is one of our most delightful, feminine and friendly mares and all her foals have the same lovely temperament and very pretty looks.
